MTV is a Latin American pay television network that was launched on 1 October 1993 as the Hispanic American version of MTV. It is owned by Paramount Networks Americas, a subsidiary of Paramount Global. The channel broadcasts music videos as well as reality shows, TV series and movies, which may be directly or indirectly related to music, aimed at the youth. Filming started in June 2022 in the coastal city of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, making this the second time the show is filmed in this city. 2023 MTV MIAW Awards
The 10th Annual MTV MIAW Awards took place on August 4, 2023, at the Pepsi Center WTC in Mexico City, to recognize the best in Latin American pop culture of 2023.
