Avarca
The avarca (, plural ) is a type of sandal popular in the Balearic Islands (Spain), especially Menorca, where they are commonly known as "Menorcan sandals". In addition to being a traditional type of footwear, Avarca is also a popular Spanish brand of sandals. The shoes are made using a leather upper and a rubber sole. Olentzero (, ; sometimes Olentzaro or Olantzaro) is a character in Basque Christmas tradition. According to Basque traditions, Olentzero comes to town late at night on 24 December to drop off presents for children. In some places he arrives later, for example in Ochagavía – Otsagabia on the 27th and in Ermua on the 31st. The name The name ''Olentzero'' appears in a number of variations: ''Onenzaro'', ''Onentzaro'', ''Olentzaro'', ''Ononzaro'', ''Orentzago'' and others. Pyrenees
The Pyrenees are a mountain range straddling the border of France and Spain.
