''Aavesham'' is a 1979 Indian Malayalam-language film directed by Vijayanand. The film stars Jayan, Sheela, M. N. Nambiar, Ceylon Manohar and Jayamalini in the lead roles. Jayan
Krishnan Madhavan Nair (25 July 1939 – 16 November 1980), better known by his stage name Jayan, born as the son of Madhavan Pillai (Kerala title), Pillai and Bharathiyamma in Kollam district, Kollam, was an Indian actor, Officer (armed forces), naval officer, and stunt performer of the 1970s and 1980s. He starred in over 150 Malayalam films, primarily as an action star. In 2010 he was referred to as the first and most successful action hero of Malayalam cinema. His superstar image became a cartoon, email, and SMS phenomenon in the early 2000s, portraying him as a comic superhero with Jayan quotes, unique quotes of superhuman strength attributed to the action star becoming widespread. Mary Joseph, famously known as Meena (22 April 1941 – 17 September 1997), was an Indian actress. She primarily appeared in Malayalam movies. She died on 17 September 1997 due to a cardiac arrest. Early life Meena (Mary Joseph) was the eighth child in a Marthoma Syrian Christian family from kumarapuram-haripad, in Alappuzha. Mala Aravindan (15 January 1939 – 28 January 2015) was an Indian actor. He was best known for his work as a comedian and character artist in Malayalam films. He has acted in over 500 films.
