Aaron Davis (boxer)
Aaron Davis (born April 8, 1967, in the Bronx, New York, United States) is a former professional boxer who held the WBA welterweight title. Amateur career Davis won the 1986 New York Golden Gloves 147 lb Open Championship. Davis defeated Maurice Donovan of the Knights Community Center in the finals to win the Championship. In 1985 Davis advanced to the finals of the 147 lb Open division and was defeated by Bradley Austin of the Jerome Boys Club. Davis trained at Gleason's Gym in New York City and as well at the Morris Park Boxing Club in the Van Nest section of the Bronx. Professional career Davis, known as "Superman", turned pro in 1986 and won his first 32 fights, including a 9th-round KO upset over Mark Breland to capture the WBA Welterweight Title in 1990. He would lose the title the following year to former light-welterweight champion Meldrick Taylor. Aaron Alexander Davis (born May 30, 1979) is an American basketball player. He played collegiately for Faulkner State Community College in 1997–98. and University of Florida (1999–2001) Professional career In 2001, Davis participated in veterans' camp with the Miami Heat and was released before the regular season. He played for Azoty Unia Tarnów in the Polish Basketball League in the 2001–02 season after being released by Miami. After one season in Poland, Aaron was invited by the Sacramento Kings to join their NBA Summer League team in the L.A Summer Pro League in Long Beach, California in 2002. Prowler (Aaron Davis)
The Prowler is an alias used by several fictional characters appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. These characters are primarily depicted as wearing a green and purple battle suit with a cape and clawed gauntlets. The original version, Hobie Brown, was created by Stan Lee, John Buscema and Jim Mooney, based on a drawing by 13-year-old John Romita Jr., who also named the character. The character was introduced in ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' #78 (November 1969) as an adversary to the superhero Spider-Man. An African-American teenage prodigy, Hobie created the Prowler technology to operate as a petty thief, but following his encounter with Spider-Man, he was convinced to turn his life around.
