Aaron Lane Cook (born February 8, 1979) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Colorado Rockies and Boston Red Sox. High school In high school, while playing for Hamilton High School (Hamilton, Ohio), Hamilton High School (Hamilton, OH), Cook allowed only one home run, to fellow Major Leaguer Kevin Youkilis, who was playing for Sycamore High School (Cincinnati, Ohio), Sycamore High School in suburban Cincinnati. Colorado Rockies Cook was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the second round of the 1997 MLB Draft and made his Major League debut in 2002. 2002 season Cook made his debut, against the Chicago Cubs, pitching two innings and allowing a home run. He would make his first start, against the San Francisco Giants, pitching six innings while allowing four walks in a no decision. Aaron Cook (footballer)
Aaron Cook (born 6 December 1979 in Caerphilly, Wales) is a Welsh semi-professional footballer who plays for Wessex League Premier Division side Moneyfields. Cook plays as a centre back. Career Cook started his career at Portsmouth. He made one appearance, starting in a 1–0 home win over Stockport County on 17 February 1998, before he moved on loan to Crystal Palace. In November 2008 he joined Newport County from Salisbury City initially on loan. He was named in the Conference South All Stars team for the 2008–09 season, in June 2009, as voted for by the managers of Conference South teams. In October 2009 he joined Eastleigh at a time for the Spitfires when Southampton were in negotiations with Eastleigh regarding Aaron Martin's move from the Silverlake Stadium (which went through in early November). Aaron Stein Cook is a Nauruan politician. Career Cook unsuccessfully ran to represent the Aiwo Constituency in the parliament of Nauru in 2008, as well as April and June 2010. In 2009, Cook was elected as president of the Nauru Weightlifting Federation. Cook was first elected to parliament in 2013 election, where he unseated Parliament Speaker Godfrey Thoma. Cook was appointed by President Baron Waqa as Minister for Commerce, Industry & Environment, RONPhos, and the Nauru Rehabilitation Corporation. Aaron Arthur Cook (born 2 January 1991) is a taekwondo athlete who has represented Great Britain (the nation of his birth), the Isle of Man, and Moldova. He has been ranked the number one in the men's −80 kg division on several occasions. He is a three-time European champion having won the −80 kg title at the European Taekwondo Championships in 2010, 2012 representing Great Britain and 2014 representing the Isle of Man, and was the world junior champion in the −78 kg division in 2008. He represented Great Britain in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, where he reached the semi-final and was narrowly defeated in the bronze medal match.
