A Time To Kill (1996 Film)
''A Time to Kill'' is a 1996 American legal drama film based on John Grisham's 1989 novel of the same name. Sandra Bullock, Samuel L. Jackson, Matthew McConaughey, and Kevin Spacey star, with Donald and Kiefer Sutherland appearing in supporting roles and Octavia Spencer in her film debut. Joel T. Schumacher (; August 29, 1939 – June 22, 2020) was an American film director, producer and screenwriter. Raised in New York City by his mother, Schumacher graduated from Parsons School of Design and originally became a fashion designer. William Steinkamp
William Steinkamp (born June 9, 1953) is an American film editor with more than 20 film credits. He had a longstanding, notable collaboration with director Sydney Pollack, editing nearly all of Pollack's films from ''Tootsie'' (1982) through the director's last film, '' The Interpreter'' (2005). Career Steinkamp's first credits are as an assistant editor to his father, Fredric Steinkamp, on two of Pollack's films in the late 1970s.
