A Song To Remember (TV Series)
''A Song to Remember'' () is a MediaCorp Channel 8 historical-cum-musical drama which is set in the 1930s to 1940s in early Singapore before World War II. It debuted on Channel 8 on 22 November 2011 and was telecast every weekday night at 9.00 pm. It stars Qi Yuwu, Joanne Peh, Eelyn Kok, Julie Tan, Desmond Tan, Chen Hanwei & Pan Lingling as the casts of the series. It was reported that the scriptwriter Ang Ee Tee took several years to complete the script of this drama. Despite large amounts of resources and money pumped in for the production and promotion of this serial, the drama was not well received by the audience when it was broadcast. Many perceived the show to be boring and slow-paced, and the acting skills of some of the main cast members were heavily criticised. Yao Wenlong
Yao Wenlong (born 14 November 1970) is a Malaysian actor and businessman who lives in Johor Bahru and works in Singapore and Malaysia. Career Yao entered the local television scene after winning the Star Search 1993 (Male category) organised by then Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (now MediaCorp). Lee Teng (actor)
Lee Teng (born 30 May 1982) is a Taiwan-born Singaporean television host, businessman, radio deejay and occasional actor. Lee won the Top 10 Most Popular Male Artiste award and the Best Programme Host twice at the Star Awards. In 2017, he won an Asian Television Awards for Best Current Affairs Presenter. May Phua
May Phua (born 14 May 1975 or 1976) is a Singaporean actress, fitness trainer, host and businesswoman. Early life Phua attended SHATEC where she obtained Diploma in Tourism in 1996. Career Phua was a full time Mediacorp artiste from 1996 to 2014. She was talent spotted from the finals of ''The New Paper'' New Face Contest in 1995. Kimberly Chia Jing Yi (born 7 August 1995) is a Singaporean actress. Early life and education Chia graduated from Compassvale Secondary School in 2011.
