Amos-17
AMOS-17 is an Israeli commercial communications satellite, part of the AMOS series of satellites. History Spacecom, the AMOS satellites operator, announced in December 2016 that it has signed a US$161 million contract with Boeing to build AMOS-17, which is to replace the failed AMOS-5 satellite. Satellite description AMOS-17 is a multi-band high-throughput satellite. It features a Ka-band, Ku-band anc C-band communications payload. It was built on the BSS-702MP satellite bus, transmitting in the Ka-band, Ku-band, and C-bands. It is a replacement for AMOS-5 and provides coverage over the continent of Africa, Europe and Middle East. Launch It was launched on 6 August 2019, at 23:23:00 UTC by a Falcon 9 launch vehicle, from Cape Canaveral, SLC-40, Florida. Boeing 702
Boeing 702 is a communication satellite bus family designed and manufactured by the Boeing Satellite Development Center, and flown from the late-1990s into the 2020s. It covers satellites massing from to with power outputs from 3 to 18  kW and can carry up to approximately 100 high-power transponders. AMOS-6 (satellite)
AMOS-6 was an Israeli communications satellite, one of the Spacecom AMOS series, that was built by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), a defense and aerospace company. AMOS-6 was intended to be launched on flight 29 of a SpaceX Falcon 9 to geostationary transfer orbit (GTO) on 3 September 2016. On 1 September 2016, during the run-up to a static fire test, there was an anomaly on the launch pad, resulting in an explosion and the loss of the vehicle and AMOS-6. There were no injuries. High-throughput satellite (HTS) is a communications satellite that provides more throughput than a classic FSS satellite (at least twice, though usually by a factor of 20 or more) for the same amount of allocated orbital spectrum, thus significantly reducing cost-per-bit. ViaSat-1 and EchoStar XVII (also known as Jupiter-1) do provide more than 100 Gbit/s of capacity, which is more than 100 times the capacity offered by a conventional FSS satellite.
