AIR Awards Of 2023
The 2023 AIR Awards is the upcoming seventeenth annual Australian Independent Record Labels Association Music Awards ceremony (generally known as the AIR Awards), scheduled to take place on 3 August 2023 in Adelaide. The 2023 AIR Awards will introduce two new categories; the Independent Marketing Team of the Year and the Independent Publicity Team of the Year. The nominations were revealed on 31 May 2023. At the awards ceremony, AIR's CEO Maria Amato said, "It was a great night of celebration and recognition for the talented, and resilient Australian independent artist and label community." Cub Sport are an Australian pop group formed in Brisbane in early 2010. Founding mainstays are Zoe Davis on keyboards, bass guitar, lead guitar and vocals, Tim Nelson on lead vocals and keyboards, Sam "Bolan" Netterfield on keyboards and vocals, and Dan Puusaari on drums. Teeny Tiny Stevies are an ARIA Award-winning Australian children's music group established in 2015 by sisters Bethany 'Beth' and Sibylla 'Byll' Stephen. The Stephen sisters also perform as the indie folk band The Little Stevies. Biography In 2015, Beth Stephen and Byll Stephen started writing children's songs. Prompted by Byll Stephen's experience with her three-year-old child, the pair wrote a song about the challenges of toilet training before writing and recording a full-length album. Ziggy Alberts (born July 1994) is an Australian singer-songwriter. He is best known for his studio album '' Laps Around the Sun'', which peaked at number 2 on the ARIA Charts for Australian Artist Albums in November 2018. Early life Ziggy Alberts was born in July 1994 and grew up on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland and was homeschooled until the age of 13. Clint William Crighton, known professionally as William Crighton (and formerly as Clint Crighton) is an Australian alternative-rock singer songwriter. Little Quirks are an Australian indie folk band formed on the Central Coast (New South Wales) in 2015 by sisters, Abbey Toole (guitar, vocals) and Mia Toole (drums, vocals), and their cousin Jaymi Toole (mandolin, vocals). The group have toured Australia and released four extended plays. In 2019 they were joined by Alex Toole (Jaymi's older brother) on bass guitar and since late 2021 Jordan Rouse provided electric guitar. Angus Stone (born 27 April 1986) is an Australian soul and pop singer, record producer and audio engineer. He is one half of the musical sibling duo Angus & Julia Stone, with whom he has released four studio albums.
