A'Cappella ExpreSSS is a professional a cappella group from Moscow, Russia, consisting of six members: soprano Viktoriya Shirokova, tenor Max Kostra, soprano Ekaterina Nadareishvili, baritone Ruslan Mustafin, сontralto Alla Goloviznina and bass Andrey Tunik. The ensemble was founded in 2002, and recorded their debut album, entitled ''Magic Moment,'' the following year. "C Jam Blues" is a jazz standard composed in 1942 by Duke Ellington. One of his most famous pieces, it has been performed by countless other musicians, such as Dave Grusin, Django Reinhardt, Oscar Peterson, and Charles Mingus. Bulat Shalvovich Okudzhava (; ka, ბულატ ოკუჯავა; ; May 9, 1924 – June 12, 1997) was a Soviet and Russian poet, writer, musician, novelist, and singer-songwriter of Georgian-Armenian ancestry. "Moscow Nights", originally titled "Leningrad Nights", is a Soviet patriotic song written by Mikhail Matusovsky and composed by Vasily Solovyov-Sedoy. It was later covered as "Midnight in Moscow" by Kenny Ball. Composition and initial success Composer Vasily Solovyov-Sedoy and poet Mikhail Matusovsky wrote the song in 1955 under the title "Leningrad Nights". At the request of the Soviet Ministry of Culture, the song was renamed "Moscow Nights" with corresponding changes to the lyrics. In 1956, "Moscow Nights" was recorded by Vladimir Troshin, a young actor of the Moscow Art Theatre, for a scene in a documentary about the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic's athletic competition Spartakiad in which the athletes rest in '' Podmoskovye'', the Moscow suburbs.
