6 Canadian Combat Support Brigade
6 Canadian Combat Support Brigade (French: ) (6CCSB) is a Canadian Forces combat support brigade that is part of 5th Canadian Division of the Canadian Army. It is spread out over different bases in Canada but the headquarters is at CFB Kingston. Units Structure of the 6CCSB History 6 CCSB was created in April 2018. The formation's goal is to generate professional and specialized forces that can provide sustained, scalable and coordinated combat support enablers and effects to any operation. 6CCSB is a mixed team of Regular Force and Primary Reserve soldiers, supported by civilians, who operate alongside whole-of-government colleagues, non-governmental agencies, and coalition partners to support Canadian Armed Forces missions. Unlike the other Regular Force brigades ( 1, 2 and 5 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group) 6CCSB is not a mechanized brigade, nor will it fight on its own or be involved as a main combat entity. The Canadian Army () is the command (military formation), command responsible for the operational readiness of the conventional ground forces of the Canadian Armed Forces. Canadian Intelligence Corps
The Canadian Intelligence Corps (C Int C) is an administrative corps of the Canadian Army (CA); it includes all CA members of the Canadian Armed Forces' Intelligence Branch. Prior to the Unification of the Canadian Armed Forces in 1968, it enjoyed the same status as an administrative corps of the Canadian Army. The C Int C was never disbanded; however, it was effectively reduced to nil strength at Unification, and entered an administrative hibernation with its personnel and duties assigned to the new Security Branch. 5 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group () (5 CMBG) is a Canadian Forces brigade group that is part of 2nd Canadian Division of the Canadian Army. It is based at CFB Valcartier, near Quebec City, Quebec. The Royal Canadian Corps of Signals (RCCS or RC Sigs; ) is a component within the Canadian Armed Forces' Communications and Electronics Branch, consisting of all members of that personnel branch who wear army uniform.
