Killer (Belgian Band)
Killer is a Belgian heavy metal band founded in 1980. The lead guitarist is Paul Shorty Van Camp. Initially, they played hard rock, but later began to weigh down their sound in favor of traditional heavy metal, speed metal and power metal. History Killer was founded in 1980 by Paul "Shorty" Van Camp (lead guitar and lead vocals) and "Fat Leo" (drums), who had just split up their previous band, Mothers of Track. After a few auditions "Spooky" (bass guitar and lead vocals) joined the band. They decided to stay a power trio and started working on the songs. After four months, their first record, ''Ready for Hell'', was recorded and released by major company WEA (Warner Bros). After this release Killer knew a very fast evolution and became a well respected and major band all over Europe and even abroad. Killer (Swiss Band)
Killer is a Swiss heavy metal group founded in 1979 by guitarist Edgar "Crown" Kocher after a 3-year stint with the band Kaktus. Kocher's trademark is wearing striped prison garb on stage. Between 1981 and 1986, Killer released 4 studio albums but always remained in the shadows of their more successful Solothurn contemporaries Krokus. After the release of their 1986 album, ''Young Blood'', the band disbanded. Kocher re-activated the group for the first time in 2002 and has continued with Killer off and on ever since despite health problems and frequent line-up changes. On May 25, 2019, Killer released ''Screamgunn'', their first new album in 33 years. Killer was a rock band founded in 1999 in Helsinki, Finland. Although Killer was a quartet, vocalist Siiri Nordin was by far the most visible member. History The group's debut single ''Hurricane'' was released in February 2001. In August 2001 the debut was followed up by ''All I Want'' – a track that topped the local airplay list and made it to No. 2 on the charts, moving the band's debut album 'Sickeningly Pretty And Unpleasantly Vain' up to gold.
