2025 Washington Commanders Season
The 2025 season is the Washington Commanders' 94th in the National Football League (NFL). It is their second under the tandem of general manager Adam Peters and head coach Dan Quinn, following up on their record and NFC Championship Game appearance from the 2024 season. Overview The front office saw the addition of former Campbell's CEO Mark Clouse as team president and the retirements of senior personnel executive Martin Mayhew and advisor Marty Hurney. The coaching staff saw Brian Schneider replace John Glenn, who left to become the linebackers coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, as assistant special teams coordinator. Joshua Jordan Harris (born December 29, 1964) is an American investor and sports team owner. Harris is a co-founder of the private equity firm Apollo Global Management and managing partner of the NBA team Philadelphia 76ers, the NHL team New Jersey Devils, and the NFL team Washington Commanders. Brian Schneider (born May 16, 1971) is an American professional football coach who is the assistant special teams coordinator for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football as a linebacker at Colorado State and has been a special teams coordinator for several teams since the late 1990s. Playing career After being a three sport athlete at Pomona High School, Schneider went on to be a linebacker from 1990 to 1993 at Colorado State. He was a three-year starter and earned first-team All-Conference honors as a senior and was an honorable mention All-American. Jacob W. Martin (born December 11, 1995) is an American professional football defensive end for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). Nathaniel William Herbig (born July 10, 1998) is an American professional football guard for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Stanford Cardinal and signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2019. Herbig has also been a member of the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers. Early life Herbig was born on July 10, 1998, in Lihue, Hawaii. Tyshun Raequan "Deebo" Samuel Sr. (born January 15, 1996) is an American professional football wide receiver for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the South Carolina Gamecocks and was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the second round of the 2019 NFL draft.
