2025 The Hague Summit
The 2025 The Hague summit was a meeting of the heads of state and heads of government of the thirty-two members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), their partner countries, and the European Union (EU). It was held in The Hague, Netherlands, on 24–25 June 2025. As the first NATO summit ever hosted by the Netherlands, it marked the inaugural summit for new NATO secretary general Mark Rutte, a former prime minister of the Netherlands and a native of The Hague. The summit focused on member states' pledge to increase defence spending to five percent of GDP. While Australia and South Korea were also invited, only the prime minister of New Zealand and Japan's senior-level delegation represented non-Atlantic partner countries. World Forum (The Hague)
The World Forum (originally known as Nederlands Congresgebouw and formerly Nederlands Congres Centrum and World Forum Convention Center) is a concert venue and convention centre in The Hague, Netherlands, near the buildings of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons and one of the administrative offices of the International Baccalaureate. History It was opened in 1969 and was designed in the Dutch functionalism style by architect Jacobus Johannes Pieter Oud. His son, Hans Oud, completed the construction after his father's death in 1963. In 2006 a part of the convention center, including the ''Statenhal'', was demolished to make place for the Europol building. Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelenskyy (born 25 January 1978) is a Ukrainian politician and former entertainer who has served as the sixth and current president of Ukraine since 2019. Willem-Alexander (; Willem-Alexander Claus George Ferdinand; born 27 April 1967) is King of the Netherlands since 30 April 2013. 2014 Nuclear Security Summit
The 2014 Nuclear Security Summit was a Summit (meeting), summit held in The Hague, the Netherlands, on March 24 and 25, 2014. It was the third edition of the conference, succeeding the 2012 Nuclear Security Summit. The 2014 summit was attended by 58 world leaders (5 of which from observing international organizations), some 5,000 delegates and some 3,000 journalists. Jens Stoltenberg
Jens Stoltenberg (; born 16 March 1959) is a Norwegian politician from the Labour Party. Since 2025, he has been the Minister of Finance in the Støre Cabinet. He has previously been the prime minister of Norway and secretary general of NATO.
