2025 Sakhir Formula 2 Round
The 2025 Sakhir FIA Formula 2 round was a motor racing event held between 11 and 13 April 2025 at the Bahrain International Circuit. It was the second round of the 2025 FIA Formula 2 Championship and was held in support of the 2025 Bahrain Grand Prix. Classification Qualifying Leonardo Fornaroli claimed pole position for the weekend, ahead of Victor Martins in second and Luke Browning in third. Joshua Dürksen started on reverse-grid pole for the sprint race. The Bahrain International Circuit () is a motorsport venue opened in 2004 and used for drag racing, GP2 Series (now FIA Formula 2 Championship, FIA Formula 2), and the annual Formula One Bahrain Grand Prix. The 2004 Formula One season, 2004 Grand Prix was the first held in the Middle East. Beginning in 2006, Australian V8 Supercars raced at the BIC, with the event known as the Desert 400. The 2025 FIA Formula 2 Championship is a motor racing championship for Formula 2 cars sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA).
