2025 Monaco EPrix
The 2025 Monaco ePrix was a Formula E electric car race held at the Circuit de Monaco in Monte Carlo, Monaco on 3-4 May 2025. It was the 8th edition of the Monaco ePrix and served as the sixth and seventh round of the 2024–25 Formula E World Championship. Background Oliver Rowland entered the weekend in the lead of the championship with 69 points, 15 points ahead of António Félix da Costa and 18 points ahead of Pascal Wehrlein in third. Porsche entered the weekend in the lead of the Teams' Championship on 105 points, with a 25 point lead over Nissan and a 38 point lead ahead of McLaren. Sébastien Buemi
Sébastien Olivier Buemi (born 31 October 1988) is a Swiss professional racing driver, who competes in the FIA Formula E Championship for Envision Racing. He competed for Scuderia Toro Rosso in Formula One from 2009 to 2011. After leaving Formula One, Buemi became a reserve driver for Scuderia Toro Rosso's sister team, Red Bull Racing from 2012 to 2013. He returned to Red Bull Racing in 2019 as a reserve driver. Buemi has competed in the FIA World Endurance Championship with Toyota Gazoo Racing (formerly Toyota Racing) since 2012. He became the 2014 World Endurance Champion in the LMP1 class. He won both the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans and, subsequently, the 2018-19 WEC Championship. He also won the 2019, 2020 and 2022 24 Hours of Le Mans. Maximilian Günther
Maximilian Günther (born 2 July 1997) is a German racing driver currently competing in Formula E for Maserati MSG Racing. Günther has previously driven in Formula 2 with Arden and for Dragon Racing, BMW i Andretti and Nissan e.dams in Formula E. He achieved his first win in Formula E at the 2020 Santiago ePrix. Career Born in Oberstdorf, Günther began his racing career in karting in 2007. He remained in karting until 2010. In 2011, Günther competed in open-wheel racing, in Formula BMW Talent Cup. Pascal Wehrlein
Pascal Wehrlein (born 18 October 1994) is a German-Mauritian racing driver for the Porsche Formula E Team. He previously raced in Formula One for the Sauber and Manor teams. Holding dual nationality of Germany and Mauritius, he raced under the German flag in Formula One. He had previously raced in DTM, winning the title with the Mercedes-Benz team HWA AG in 2015. In 2014 Wehrlein became the youngest driver to win a DTM race at the age of 19, and the following year he was the youngest to win the title, at the age of 20. António Maria de Mello Breyner Félix da Costa (born 31 August 1991) is a Portuguese professional racing driver for the Porsche Formula E Team and the 2019–20 Formula E Drivers' Champion. Monaco EPrix
The Monaco ePrix is a recurring automobile race of the Formula E World Championship which takes place in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Circuit On 18 September 2014 it was announced that Formula E would be racing on a shorter version of the original Monaco Grand Prix circuit for the 2014–15 season. This version misses out the hill, Casino square, the iconic hairpin, the famous tunnel and the chicane. However, in the 2020–21 season, the ePrix will be held on the traditional full-length Monaco circuit. Monaco was not scheduled to be on the calendar for the second season of Formula E because it takes the slot on the calendar filled by the Historic Grand Prix at Monaco every other year.
