2025 League Of Ireland Premier Division
The 2025 League of Ireland Premier Division, known as the SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division for sponsorship reasons, is the 41st season of the League of Ireland Premier Division, the top Irish league for association football clubs since its establishment in 1985. The competition began on 14 February 2025 and is set to conclude on 1 November 2025. As part of the opening weekend of fixtures, the derby between Bohemians–Shamrock Rovers rivalry, arch-rivals Bohemians and Shamrock Rovers took place at the Aviva Stadium, the national football stadium of the Republic of Ireland national football team, Republic of Ireland where a record Premier Division crowd of 33,208 was present. The League of Ireland Men's Premier Division (), also known as the SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in the Republic of Ireland and the highest level of the Republic of Ireland football league system. Contested by ten clubs, the league operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the League of Ireland First Division. Turners Cross (stadium)
Turners Cross is an all-seater football stadium located in and synonymous with the district of Turners Cross in Cork, Ireland. It is owned by the Munster Football Association (MFA), and is used by the MFA and by League of Ireland side Cork City. It was the first all-seated, all-covered stadium in Ireland following redevelopment in 2009, and it is currently one out of only three, the others being the Aviva Stadium and Tallaght Stadium. Dalymount Park (Irish language, Irish: ''Páirc Chnocán Uí Dhálaigh'') is a Association football, football stadium in Phibsborough on the Northside Dublin, Northside of Dublin, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. Phibsborough (; ), also spelled Phibsboro, is a mixed commercial and residential neighbourhood on the Northside of Dublin, Ireland.
