The 2025 Football South Australia season is the 119th season of soccer in South Australia. It is the 20th to be run by Football South Australia and the 13th under the National Premier Leagues banner. Football South Australia (FSA) is the governing body of association football, soccer in the state of South Australia. It was established in 2006 under the name Football Federation South Australia (FFSA), which succeeded the former organisation, the South Australian Soccer Federation (SASF). Sturt Lions FC
Sturt Lions Soccer Club is an Australian professional football club in Adelaide, South Australia. Nicknamed the Lions, Sturt are associated with FFSA, and they currently play in State league 1. The league is a second tier-league in South Australia and third-tier nationally. In 2017 the Lions were Champions of State League 1 after defeating White City, Adelaide Raiders, South Adelaide and Western Strikers in the Final Series. North Eastern MetroStars Soccer Club, commonly known as MetroStars, is an Australian semi-professional soccer club based in Adelaide, South Australia. Adelaide United Football Club Youth is the youth system of Adelaide United Football Club based in Adelaide, South Australia. Adelaide City FC
Adelaide City Football Club is a semi-professional soccer club based in Oakden, a north-eastern suburb of Adelaide. 2025 Australian Championship
The 2025 Australian Championship will be the first edition of the Australian Championship, a national second-tier competition of soccer in Australia, held after the finish of the second-tier 2025 National Premier Leagues season. The tournament will consist of six home-and-away matches in four groups for teams in the group stage, culminating in a knockout finals series, and will begin on 10 October 2025 and end on 6–7 December 2025. Teams Sixteen teams will compete in the tournament, eight Foundation Clubs and Premiers from the eight 2025 National Premier Leagues competitions, which will be determined by mid-September.
