2025 24H Series
The 2025 24H Series powered by Michelin is the eleventh season of the 24H Series with drivers battling for championship points and titles and the sixteenth season since 24H Series#Creventic, Creventic, the organiser and promoter of the series, organised multiple races a year. The races are contested with Group GT3, GT3-spec cars, Group GT4, GT4-spec cars, Sports car racing, sports cars and 24H-Specials, like Silhouette racing car, silhouette cars, TCR Touring Cars, TCX cars and TC cars. Calendar The calendar was released on September 24, 2024, and featured one change with the Circuit Paul Ricard replacing the round at Algarve International Circuit, Portimão. The 24H Series is a sports car racing and touring car racing series developed by Creventic and with approval from the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). It features Group GT3, GT3-spec cars, Group GT4, GT4-spec cars, Sports car racing, sports cars, Touring car racing, touring cars and 24H-Specials, like Silhouette racing car, silhouette cars. The calendar consists only of Endurance racing (motorsport), 24-hour and 12-hour races. 2015 was the first season with drivers battling for championship points and titles. Ferrari 296 GTB
The Ferrari 296 (Type F171) is a sports car built since 2022 by the Italian company Ferrari. The 296 is a two-seater, offered as a GTB coupe and a GTS folding hard-top convertible. It is a plug-in hybrid with a rear mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout and its powertrain combines a twin-turbocharged 120-degree bank angle V6, with an electric drive fitted in between the engine and gearbox. The 296 can be driven in electric-only mode for short distances, to comply with use in urban zero-emission zones. Unveiled on 24 June 2021, the 296 is Ferrari's first stock model with 6-cylinders other than the Dino 206 GT, 246 GT and 246 GTS cars produced by Ferrari but sold under the Dino marque. Loris Kessel (1 April 1950 – 15 May 2010) was a racing driver from Switzerland. Biography Kessel was born in Lugano. He participated in six Formula One World Championship Grands Prix, debuting on 2 May 1976. He scored no championship points. In 1976, he drove a Brabham for RAM, and in 1977 he drove his own Apollon- Williams, although this car was not a success. Kessel ran a series of car dealerships in Switzerland and his own racing team, competing in Ferrari Challenge series in Italy and the main European series. V10 Engine
A V10 engine is a ten- cylinder piston engine where two banks of five cylinders are arranged in a V configuration around a common crankshaft. V10 engines are much less common than V8 and V12 engines. The Audi R8 (Type 4S) is the second generation of the Audi R8, R8 sports car manufactured by German automobile manufacturer Audi.
