2024–25 Women's FIH Pro League
The 2024–25 Women's FIH Pro League is the sixth edition of the Women's FIH Pro League, a field hockey championship for women's national teams. The tournament began on 30 November 2024 and will finish on 29 June 2025. Format The home and away principle was kept for the season, which was divided into date blocks. To assist with competition planning, international and national, several teams gathered in one venue to contest “mini-tournaments," wherein they each played two matches against one another. If one of the two matches played between two teams was cancelled, the winner of the other match received double points. This season winner earned direct qualification for the 2026 World Cup. Yibbi Jansen
Yibbi Jansen (born 18 November 1999) is a Dutch professional field hockey player. Personal life Yibbi Jansen was born and raised in Gemonde, a village in the North Brabant province of the Netherlands. Her father is Ronald Jansen, former goalkeeper for the Dutch men's team. Career Hoofdklasse In the Dutch Hoofdklasse, Jansen plays for SCHC. In the past, she has also represented other clubs. She began her senior domestic career playing for Den Bosch, before later moving to Oranje-Rood in 2016. Under–21 Jansen made her international debut at under–21 level. During her junior career with the Netherlands U–21 side, she medalled at two editions of the EuroHockey U21 Championship. Liu Chencheng (born 13 October 2002) is a field hockey player from China, who plays as a forward. Career Under–18 Liu Chencheng made her international debut at under–18 level. She was a member of the Chinese squad at the Asian Qualifier for the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics, held in Bangkok. National team Liu did not represent China again until 2023.
