The 2024–25 season was St Johnstone's twelfth season in the Scottish Premiership and their sixteenth consecutively (following four in the former Scottish Premier League) in the top flight of Scottish football. Sam McClelland
Sam Richard McClelland (born 4 January 2002) is a Northern Irish professional football player who plays for club St Johnstone and the Northern Ireland national team. He has had loan spells with Barrow and Dundee United. Club career Chelsea McClelland began his youth career playing for Limavady Youths before moving to the Coleraine Academy. He made his Chelsea U18 debut against Arsenal in September 2018 and signed his first professional contract in July 2019. On 23 June 2022, he signed on a year long loan for League Two side Barrow. McClelland made his debut on 30 July, starting in a 3–2 away win against Stockport County. He scored his first career goal in a 2–1 win over Walsall on 16 August 2022. On 16 June 2023, Chelsea announced that McClelland would leave the club when his contract expired at the end of June. Jamie Terence McGrath (born 30 September 1996) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or winger for Scottish Premiership club Hibernian, and the Republic of Ireland national team. He started his career with St Patrick's Athletic and has since played for Dundalk, St Mirren, Wigan Athletic, Dundee United and Aberdeen. Nicky Devlin (born 17 October 1993) is a Scottish professional Association football, footballer who plays as a right-back for club Aberdeen F.C., Aberdeen and the Scotland national football team, Scotland national team. Gayfield Park, commonly known as Gayfield, is a football stadium in Arbroath, Angus, Scotland. It is the home ground of Scottish Professional Football League team Arbroath F.C. The club have played at Gayfield since 1880, although the pitch has only been on its current alignment since the ground was redeveloped in 1925. The ground has a capacity of , including 861 seats. History Arbroath F.C. was formed in 1878 and played at Woodville Park and Hospitalfield before acquiring a former rubbish tip on the seafront to build Gayfield. Joshua McPake (born 31 August 2001) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a winger for club St Johnstone. Christie Park is a football ground in the town of Huntly in the north-east of Scotland. It is the home ground of Highland Football League side Huntly F.C. It is located on East Park Street in the north-east of the town and has a capacity of 2,200 with 270 seated. History The ground was previously known as Strathbogie Park from 1921 when it opened, until 1926 when it was renamed Christie Park. The ground takes its name from former Provost Christie who acquired the ground and donated it to the football club on the condition that they remained amateur. This was agreed by the club, who subsequently renamed the ground in Christie's honour.
