The 2024–25 season, officially known as ''Liga de Plata'' will be El Salvador's Segunda División de Fútbol Salvadoreño. The season will be split into two championships Apertura 2024 and Clausura 2025. The champions of the Apertura and Clausura play the direct promotion playoff every year. The winner of that series ascends to Primera División de Fútbol de El Salvador. 2022–23 Primera División De El Salvador
The 2022–23 Primera División de El Salvador, also known as the Liga Pepsi, is the 24th season and 46th and 47th Primera División tournament, El Salvador's top football division, since its establishment of an Apertura and Clausura format. C.D. FAS and To be determined, TBD are the defending champions of both Apertura and Clausura tournaments respectively. The league will consist of 12 teams. There will be two seasons conducted under identical rules, with each team playing a home and away game against the other clubs for a total of 22 games per tournament. At the end of each half-season tournament, the top six teams in that tournament's regular season standings will take part in the playoffs. William Osorio
William Adalberto Osorio Rivera (born April 13, 1971) is a retired Salvadoran footballer. He was assistant coach at CD FAS, assisting technical director William Renderos. Club career After coming through at Coca-Cola, for whom he made his debut in 1987 while in the Salvadoran second division, Osorio started his top level career with FAS and made his debut in August 1990 against Fuerte San Francisco. He won 6 league titles with FAS in two periods divided by a spell at Luis Ángel Firpo with whom he also won the league in 1998. Fuerte San Francisco is a football club based in San Francisco Gotera, El Salvador that plays in the Primera División, the top flight of Salvadoran football. Nicknamed Los Comandos Azules (The blue commanders), the club has won two league second division titles, Seven third divisions titles and one promotional titles. José Guillermo Rivera Escobar (born November 25, 1969) is a retired Salvadoran professional football player. Club career Nicknamed ''Memo'', Rivera came through the youth ranks at FAS, where he would stay for over a decade and win two league titles. Cesar Acevedo
Cesar Acevedo (born 5 September 1953) is a retired football player from El Salvador and currently head coach of Nuevo San Sebastian. Career Acevedo spent his entire playing career at FAS in the primera division scoring 47 goals. He was part of the FAS squad that won the 1979 CONCACAF Champions' Cup.
