The 2024–25 season for the Kuwait Premier League is the 63rd season of professional football played in Kuwait. Kuwait SC are the defending champions. Kuwaiti Premier League
The Kuwait Premier League (), known as Zain Premier League due to sponsorship reasons, is the top division of the Kuwait football pyramid system. Formed in 1961, Kuwait SC holds the best record in the competition, having won 20 times. History The Kuwaiti Premier League officially began in the 1961/62 season, after playing unofficially for eight years (played with group of clubs: "Ahli - Al Jazeera - Arabism - Gulf - Solidarity - Al-Qubali, Al-Nahda, Al-Sharqai, Al-Merqab, Al-Mawalim and Al-Taawon). National companies and ministries were club's first sponsors. 1960s In the 1961/1962 season, several new clubs joined ( Al-Arabi, Qadsia, Kuwait SC, Kifan High School, Shuwaikh Secondary School, Industrial College and Police Team). Fahaheel
Fahaheel () is an area in Kuwait, located in the Ahmadi Governorate in the country's south. Located on the coast of the Persian Gulf, it lies east of the Ahmadi area. The Fahaheel Fish Market, a major fish market in Kuwait, is located on the seashore of Fahaheel. It is a traditional style fresh fish market and is directly supplied by fishermen on the wharf, carrying buckets of fish directly from their boats. Salmiya () is an area in Hawalli Governorate in Kuwait. Salmiya is administratively divided into 12 blocks. The blocks located closer to the interior of the district tend to be mostly residential, while those located beside the Persian Gulf coastline have a great deal of commercial and up-scale residential real estate. Hawalli, Kuwait
Hawally () is an area in, and the namesake of, the Hawalli Governorate, located in the State of Kuwait. Hawally is a large settlement and the commercial center for most computer-related goods in Kuwait. Prior to the first Gulf War, it housed many Palestinians, but many left during and after the War. Currently, Hawally is home to many of the Arab populations in Kuwait including Egyptians, Syrians, Iraqis and Lebanese.
