2024–25 ISU Short Track World Tour
The 2024–25 ISU Short Track World Tour was a multi-race series over a season of Short-track speed skating, short track speed skating, organised by the International Skating Union (ISU), which also ran World Cups and Championships in speed skating and figure skating. It was the 1st edition of the ISU Short Track World Tour. It started on 25 October 2024 and ended on 16 February 2025. Calendar As per the Communication No. 2648 of ISU, the ISU has designated the following competitions as "World Tour Competitions" as part of the world tour. William Dandjinou
William Dandjinou (born October 1, 2001) is a Canadian Short-track speed skating, short-track speed skater. Dandjinou is a four-time world champion winning gold in the 1,000 m at the 2024 World Short Track Speed Skating Championships, 2024 world championships and winning three golds at the 2024 World Short Track Speed Skating Championships, 2025 world championships, where he repeated as the 1,500 m champion and won two more golds in the men's and mixed relays. Dandjinou is noted for being "unusually tall for a short-tracker" measuring 6-foot-3 without skates, considerably above the 5-foot-9 height he considers ideal for the sport. Career Dandjinou was a reserve for the Canadian team at the 2022 Winter Olympics. Dandjinou began the 2023-2024 season with a victory at the Canadian Championships. Jang Seong-woo (; born January 17, 1990) is the catcher of KT Wiz of the KBO League. He joined Lotte Giants in 2008. After that, he belonged to Korean Police Baseball Team in 2012, and he moved to Lotte Giants again in 2014. Then he moved to KT Wiz in 2015. He won the most RBI in the North Korean league in the Yakult Seven Pro Baseball Futures League in 2013. He graduated from Kyungnam High School. Pietro Sighel
Pietro Sighel (born 15 July 1999) is an Italian short track speed skater. He was second in the overall classification at the 2021 European Championships in Gdańsk, where he also secured silver medals in both 500 m and 5000 m relay competitions. He won three bronze medals at the 2021 World Championships in Dordrecht. Sighel's first World Cup successes came during the 2021-22 season. 24 October 2021 he together with Andrea Cassinelli, Yuri Confortola, and Tommaso Dotti finished third in 5000 m men's relay in Beijing. Lin Xiaojun (), born Lim Hyo-jun (, born 29 May 1996), is a South Korean-born Chinese short track speed skater. He is the 2018 champion of the Men's 1500 m event in short track speed skating at the Winter Olympics, and also set the new Olympic record for the event.
