2024–25 Czech Extraliga Season
The 2024–25 Czech Extraliga season is the 32nd season of the Czech Extraliga since its creation after the breakup of Czechoslovakia and the Czechoslovak First Ice Hockey League in 1993. Regular season Each team play 52 games, playing each of the other 13 teams four times – twice at home, and twice away. Points were awarded for each game, where three points are awarded for winning in regulation time, two points for winning in overtime or shootout, one point for losing in overtime or shootout, and zero points for losing in regulation time. At the end of the regular season, the team that finishes with the most points is crowned winner of the regular season. Czech Extraliga
The Czech Extraliga () is the highest-level ice hockey league in the Czech Republic. It was created in 1993 following the peaceful dissolution of Czechoslovakia midway through the 1992–93 Czechoslovak Extraliga season (which all Slovak and Czech teams played to completion). The league's season usually takes place between September and April and features 14 teams. Teams from the ELH participate in the IIHF's annual European tournament in the CHL. During the 2022–23 CHL season, the ELH was ranked the No. 5 league in Europe, allowing them to send their top three teams to compete in the CHL. Rytíři Kladno
Rytíři Kladno (') is a Czech Republic, Czech professional ice hockey team based in the city of Kladno. They are currently a member of the Czech Extraliga. The team president and owner is Jaromír Jágr, a former National Hockey League, NHL player, who is currently playing in home games for the team in addition to his ownership and administrative roles. The team plays its home games at ČEZ Stadion. History Kladno was a particularly strong team in the late 1970s, when it won four consecutive league titles (1975–1978), and again in 1980. Ondřej Kaše (born 8 November 1995) is a Czech professional ice hockey forward who is currently playing with HC Litvínov of the Czech Extraliga (ELH). He most recently played for the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League (NHL). He previously played with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Boston Bruins, and Anaheim Ducks. Róbert Lantoši
Róbert Lantoši (born 24 September 1995) is a Slovak professional ice hockey forward who is currently playing for HC Bílí Tygři Liberec in the Czech Extraliga (ELH). Playing career Lantoši played as a youth with MsHK Žilina before continuing his junior career in Sweden within the developmental system of VIK Västerås HK. He made his professional debut in the HockeyAllsvenskan during the 2013–14 season, scoring a goal in just one game with VIK. Roman Červenka (born 10 December 1985) is a Czech professional ice hockey player for the HC Dynamo Pardubice of the Czech Extraliga (ELH). Filip Chlapík (born 3 June 1997) is a Czech professional ice hockey forward. He is currently playing for HC Sparta Praha in the Czech Extraliga (ELH).
