2024–25 All-Ireland Intermediate Club Hurling Championship
The 2024–25 All-Ireland Intermediate Club Hurling Championship was the 20th staging of the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Hurling Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's intermediate inter-county club hurling tournament. The championship ran from 26 October 2024 to 12 January 2025. The All-Ireland final was played on 12 January 2025 at Croke Park in Dublin, between Watergrasshill from Cork and Tynagh-Abbey/Duniry from Galway, in what was their first ever meeting in the final. Watergrasshill won the match by 2-15 to 0-18 to claim their first ever All-Ireland title. Watergrasshill's Adam Murphy was the championship's top scorer with 2-40. Eddie Enright
Eddie Enright (born 29 December 1974) is an Irish hurling manager, selector and former player. At club level, he played with Thurles Sarsfields and at inter-county level with the Tipperary senior hurling team. Playing career Enright first played hurling to a high standard as a student at CBS Thurles. He lined out in all grades during his time there, including the Dr Harty Cup. Enright later attended University College Cork and won three consecutive Fitzgibbon Cup medals, including one as team captain in 1998. At club level, Enright first played with the Durlas Óg juvenile club. He won several divisional and county medals as a dual player in the under-12 grade. Enright subsequently progressed to adult level with Thurles Sarsfields. He won six Mid Tipperary SHC medals between 1993 and 2007. London Senior Hurling Championship
The London Senior Hurling Championship is a Gaelic Athletic Association cup competition between the top hurling clubs in London, England. Format Group stage Six clubs start in the group stage. Over the course of the group stage, each team plays once against the others in the group, resulting in each team being guaranteed five group games. Two points are awarded for a win, one for a draw and zero for a loss. The teams are ranked in the group stage table by points gained, then scoring difference and then their head-to-head record. Borris-in-Ossory–Kilcotton GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Borris-in-Ossory, County Laois, Ireland. The club is primarily concerned with the game of hurling. History Two separate clubs, namely Borris-in-Ossory and Kilcotton, had existed in the area and had won a total of 15 Laois SHC titles between them between 1904 and 1972. A number of factors resulted in the clubs amalgamating at all levels in January 2011. Both clubs agreed to retain their individual identities when it came to fielding a Gaelic football team. The new club was in its infancy when it had its first successes, winning two Laois IHC titles in the space of three years between 2012 and 2014. The 1974 Kerry Senior Hurling Championship was the 73rd staging of the Kerry Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Kerry County Board in 1889. The draw for the opening round fixtures took place on 11 June 1974. The championship ran from 21 July 1974 to 13 October 1974. Ballyduff entered the championship as the defending champions, however, they were beaten by Abbeydorney in the quarter-finals. The final was played on 13 October 1974 at Austin Stack Park in Tralee, between Abbeydorney and Austin Stacks, in what was their first ever meeting in the final. Abbeydorney GAA Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association is an Irish hurling club from North County Kerry near Tralee, Ireland. History Abbeydorney are one of the oldest clubs in Kerry. The club was founded in 1885. They have won Senior County Championships in 1893, 1895, 1913, 1974 and 2024.
