2024 Women's PGA Championship
The 2024 KPMG Women's PGA Championship was the 70th Women's PGA Championship. It was played June 20–23 at Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Washington, a suburb east of Seattle. It was the third of five major championships on the LPGA Tour during the 2024 season. Sahalee hosted the PGA Championship in 1998, the U.S. Senior Open in 2010, and the Women's PGA Championship in 2016, where Brooke Henderson won in a playoff over Lydia Ko. Brooke Henderson
Brooke Mackenzie Henderson (born 10 September 1997) is a Canadian professional golfer on the LPGA Tour. Henderson was named the Canadian Press female athlete of the year for 2015, 2017 and 2018. She won her first Women's major golf championships, major at age 18 in 2016 LPGA Tour, 2016 at the 2016 KPMG Women's PGA Championship, KPMG Women's PGA Championship, becoming the event's youngest winner. Yin Ruoning (born 28 September 2002) is a Chinese professional golfer who plays on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour. At age 20, she won the 2023 Women's PGA Championship becoming the second women's major championship winner from China. Yin rose to number one in the Women's World Golf Rankings in September 2023. Nelly Korda (born July 28, 1998) is an American professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour, where she has won 15 times and reached number one in the Women's World Golf Rankings. Cristie Kerr (born October 12, 1977) is an American professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour. She has 20 wins on the LPGA Tour, including two major championships, and over $19 million in career earnings. Kerr was the number one-ranked golfer in the Women's World Golf Rankings for three time periods in 2010. She is naturally left handed but plays golf right handed. Hannah Green (born 20 December 1996) is an Australian professional golfer and winner of the 2019 Women's PGA Championship. Early life Green was born in Perth, Western Australia. World Golf Hall Of Fame
The World Golf Hall of Fame was, until recently, located at World Golf Village between Jacksonville, Florida and St. Augustine, Florida, in the United States. (born 2 August 2001) is a Japanese professional golfer. She plays on the LPGA of Japan Tour where she has 13 wins. Career Yamashita was born in Neyagawa, Osaka in 2001 and started playing golf when she was five years old. She turned professional and joined the LPGA of Japan Tour in 2020. She captured the 2021 KKT Cup Vantelin Ladies Open for her maiden win on the JLPGA. In 2022, Yamashita recorded five wins and was the LPGA of Japan Tour leading money winner with ¥235,020,967.
