2024 West Virginia Mountaineers Football Team
The 2024 West Virginia Mountaineers football team represented West Virginia University as a member of the Big 12 Conference during the 2024 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Mountaineers played their home games at Milan Puskar Stadium located in Morgantown, West Virginia. Head coach Neal Brown was fired on December 1, a day after a blowout loss to Texas Tech in the team's regular season finale. He finished at WVU with an overall record of 37–35 through six seasons. The Big 12 Conference is a college athletic conference headquartered in Irving, Texas, USA. It consists of ten full-member universities. It is a member of Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) for all sports. Its football teams compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS; formerly Division I-A), the higher of two levels of NCAA Division I football competition. New Mexico Lobos Football
The New Mexico Lobos football team is the intercollegiate football team at the University of New Mexico. The Lobos compete as a member of the Mountain West Conference. Their official colors are cherry and silver. The Lobos play their home games at University Stadium. History Early history (1892–1959) The first New Mexico Lobos football team took the field in 1892. The Findlay Oilers are the athletic teams that represent the University of Findlay, located in Findlay, Ohio, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sporting competitions. Nevada Wolfpack Football
The Nevada Wolf Pack football program represents the University of Nevada, Reno (commonly referred to as "Nevada" in athletics) in college football. The Wolf Pack competes in the Mountain West Conference at the Football Bowl Subdivision level of the NCAA Division I. It was founded on October 24, 1896, as the Sagebrushers in Reno, Nevada. The Wolf Pack's home field is Mackay Stadium, located at the north end of its campus in Reno, having been moved from it original location which opened on October 23, 1909. The James Madison Dukes football program represents James Madison University in the sport of American football.
