2024 Tour De Pologne
The 2024 Tour de Pologne was the 81st edition of the Tour de Pologne road cycling stage race, and the 27th event of the men's 2024 UCI World Tour. The race began on 12 August in Wrocław and finished on 18 August in Kraków. 2024 UCI World Tour
The 2024 UCI World Tour was a series of races that included thirty-five road bicycle racing, road cycling events throughout the 2024 in men's road cycling, 2024 cycling season. The tour started with the 2024 Tour Down Under, Tour Down Under on 16 January, and concluded with the 2024 Tour of Guangxi, Tour of Guangxi on 20 October. Karpacz
Karpacz (, German: ''Krummhübel'') is a spa town and ski resort in Jelenia Góra County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, south-western Poland, and one of the most important centres for mountain hiking and skiing, including ski jumping. Its population is about 4,500. Karpacz is situated in the Karkonosze Mountains – a resort with increasing importance for tourism as an alternative to the Alps. Karpacz is located at above sea level. Prudnik
Prudnik (, , , ) is a town in southern Poland, located in the southern part of Opole Voivodeship near the border with the Czech Republic. It is the administrative seat of Prudnik County and Gmina Prudnik. Its population numbers 21,368 inhabitants (2016). Since 2015, Prudnik is a member of the Cittaslow, Cittaslow International. Kudowa-Zdrój
Kudowa-Zdrój (, ), or simply Kudowa, is a town located below the Table Mountains in Kłodzko County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in the southwestern part of Poland. It has a population of around 10,000 and is located at the Polish-Czech border, just across from the Czech town of Náchod, some west of Polish Kłodzko and from Prague. Kudowa-Zdrój is one of the oldest European spa towns where heart and circulatory system diseases were cured. Duszniki-Zdrój
Duszniki-Zdrój (; ; ), often simplified to Duszniki, is a spa town in Kłodzko Valley and Kłodzko County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in southwestern Poland. As of December 2021, the town has a population of 4,329. Situated on the Bystrzyca River, it attracts tourists from Poland and around the world. History The settlement was mentioned in 1324. The town was colonized by Germans an the name Reinerz likely refers to the place Reinhards in Hesse. It was granted town rights in 1346. Until 1595 it remained in private hands. A trade route connecting Silesia and Bohemia ran through the town, contributing to its development. Weaving and paper production developed, as well as the iron industry, but the local iron deposits quickly depleted. Wałbrzych
Wałbrzych (; ; or ''Walmbrich''; or ) is a city located in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in southwestern Poland, seat of Wałbrzych County. Wałbrzych lies approximately southwest of the voivodeship capital Wrocław and about from the Czech Republic, Czech border. Wałbrzych has the status of municipality. An individual time trial (ITT) is a road bicycle race in which cyclists race alone against the clock (in French: ''contre la montre'' – literally "against the watch", in Italian: ''tappa a cronometro'' "stopwatch stage"). Mysłakowice
Mysłakowice is a village in Karkonosze County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It is the seat of the administrative district (gmina) called Gmina Mysłakowice. It lies approximately south-east of Jelenia Góra and west of the regional capital Wrocław. It is situated at the foothills of the Rudawy Janowickie in the Western Sudetes.
