The 2024 season was the Tennessee Titans' 55th in the National Football League (NFL), their 65th overall, their 28th in the state of Tennessee, their second and final under general manager Ran Carthon, and their first under head coach Brian Callahan. The Titans' 1–6 record to start the season was their worst start since 2015. The team was eliminated from playoff contention for the third consecutive season after losing to the Jacksonville Jaguars 10–6 in Week 14. They failed to improve on their 6–11 record from the previous season after losing to the Cincinnati Bengals 37–27 in Week 15. AFC South
The American Football Conference – Southern Division or AFC South is one of the four divisions of the American Football Conference (AFC) in the National Football League (NFL). It was created before the 2002 season when the league realigned divisions after expanding to 32 teams. Since its creation, the division has had the same four members: the Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Tennessee Titans. The 2022 season is the Tennessee Titans' 53rd in the National Football League (NFL), their 63rd overall, their 26th in the state of Tennessee and their fifth under head coach Mike Vrabel. Mike Vrabel
Michael George Vrabel (; born August 14, 1975) is an American football coach and former linebacker who is the head coach of the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Ohio State, where he earned consensus All-American honors. Vrabel was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round of the 1997 NFL Draft, joined the New England Patriots as a free agent in 2001, where he became an All-Pro and a three-time Super Bowl champion, then finished his career with the Kansas City Chiefs. After retiring as a player following the 2010 season, Vrabel was the linebackers and defensive line coach at Ohio State for three seasons. Brett Mason Rudolph III (born July 17, 1995) is an American football quarterback who is a free agent. He played college football at Oklahoma State, where he was a three-year starter and won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award during his last year.
