2024 Taini Jamison Trophy Series
The 2024 Taini Jamison Trophy Series, also known as the 2024 Cadbury Netball Series, was the 14th Taini Jamison Trophy series. It featured New Zealand playing England in three netball test matches, played in September and October 2024. After winning the two opening tests, England eventually won the series 2–1. The winning England team was coached by Jess Thirlby and captained by Fran Williams. The New Zealand team were coached by Noeline Taurua and captained by Ameliaranne Ekenasio. The series was broadcast live on Sky Sport in New Zealand, on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and Ireland and worldwide on NetballPass and YouTube. Sky Sport is a group of sports-oriented television channels operated by New Zealand's satellite pay-TV company, Sky. History Sky Sport 1 is the original Sky Television sport channel in New Zealand. It was first introduced in 1990 as Sky Sport on the Sky UHF service. Maddy Gordon
Maddy Gordon (born 16 January 2000) is a New Zealand netball international. She was a member of the New Zealand teams that won the 2021 Constellation Cup and the 2022 Taini Jamison Trophy Series. She also represented New Zealand at the 2023 Netball World Cup. Gordon was also a prominent member of the Central Pulse teams that won the 2019, 2020 and 2022 ANZ Premiership titles. Early life, family and education Gordon was born and bred in Whangārei. She is the daughter of Carolyn and David Gordon. She stayed in Whangārei until she was 16. She subsequently attended Mount Albert Grammar School, where she excelled at netball, volleyball, athletics, cross-country and swimming. Imogen Allison (born 24 April 1998) is an English netball player, who has represented the national side since 2020. At club level, she plays for Queensland Firebirds and has previously played for Manchester Thunder,Team Bath & Yorkshire Jets. Northern Stars are a New Zealand netball team based in South Auckland. Since 2017 they have competed in the ANZ Premiership. The team was named after the Matariki star cluster which is also featured on the team's logo. They were grand finalists in 2019 and 2021. Maia Wilson (born 21 September 1997) is a New Zealand netball international. She was a member of the New Zealand teams that won the 2017 Netball World Youth Cup and the 2021 Constellation Cup. She also represented New Zealand at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Wilson made her senior league debut with Central Pulse during the 2016 ANZ Championship season. Whitney Souness
Whitney Souness (born 1995) is a New Zealand netball player. She currently plays for Central Pulse and had played 30 times for the New Zealand national netball team. Early life Souness was born on 12 October or 12 November 1995 (sources vary). She comes from Porirua in the Wellington Region of the North Island of New Zealand. She attended St Mary's College in Wellington and, on the school's netball team, was coached by the former Samoan international, Pelesa Semu. New South Wales Swifts are an Australian professional netball team based in Sydney, New South Wales. Since 2017 they have represented Netball New South Wales in Suncorp Super Netball. Northern Mystics are a New Zealand netball team based in Auckland. Between 2008 and 2016, they played in the ANZ Championship. Kelly Jackson (born 22 October 1996), previously known as Kelly Jury, is a New Zealand netball international. She represented New Zealand at the 2018 and 2022 Commonwealth Games.
