2024 Spikers' Turf Open Conference
The 2024 Spikers' Turf Open Conference was the eighteenth conference and the opening of the seventh season of the Spikers' Turf. The tournament began on March 13, 2024. A total of nine teams were battling for the championship title, including the three newly formed teams, namely the Criss Cross King Crunchers, Maverick Hard Hitters, and RichMarc Sports 3B Elite Spikers. Tai Bundit
Anusorn "Tai" Bundit ( th, อนุสร บัณฑิตย์) is a Thai volleyball coach Career Bundit who became known affectionally as Coach Tai in the Philippines, has coached in his home country of Thailand. He was coach of the country's B national team and a professional club in the Thai premier league. He was a coach of the Thailand women's national team at the 2006 Asian Games which placed fourth. In 2014, Bundit was tasked by the Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines to lead its women's team at the UAAP. Despite limited English fluency, he was able to stir the team to win their first ever championship in UAAP Season 76. This was followed by another title in Season 77. He would coach Ateneo until 2018, last mentoring the team in Season 80. Bundit became head coach of the Creamline Cool Smashers of the Premier Volleyball League. Ynares Center
The Ynares Center is an indoor sporting arena located along the Circumferential Road in Antipolo, Rizal, Philippines. The facility, which has a seating capacity of 7,400, is managed by the Provincial Government of Rizal. Aside from hosting basketball, boxing, volleyball and other indoor sports, the Ynares Center is also used for concerts and other crowd gatherings. The arena was built at a cost of ₱350 million. The Philippine Institute of Sports Multi-Purpose Arena or PhilSports Arena is an indoor sporting arena located inside the PhilSports Complex in Pasig, Philippines. It was formerly known as the University of Life Theater and Recreational Arena or the ULTRA. The arena is part of the PhilSports Complex which is maintained by the Philippine Sports Commission. Sinfronio "Sammy" Acaylar () is a Filipino volleyball coach. Career Club Acaylar has coached the Cignal HD Spikers women's team of the Philippine Super Liga helping them finish as runners-up twice in their first season in 2013. He would join the Sta. Lucia Lady Realtors, who were newcomers in the 2017 season. He would guide the team in the All-Filipino Conference before resigning shortly prior to the start of the Grand Prix Conference due to commitments with other teams. The Savouge Aesthetics and Medical Clinic Spin Doctors or simply the Savouge Spin Doctors is a Philippine men's volleyball club which plays in the Spikers' Turf. It is affiliated with the Savouge Aesthetics cosmetics clinic which is owned by Sydney Calderon. History The Savouge Spin Doctors have played in the 2023 PNVF Challenge Cup and 2024 PNVF Champions League. They would join the Spikers' Turf for the 2024 Open Conference with Sammy Acaylar as their head coach. In the 2024 Invitational Conference, the Spin Doctors back by a majority-LGBTQ+ roster and led by Savouge Aesthetics owner Sydney Calderon herself finished third place.
