2024 Mumbai Stampede
On 27 October 2024, a stampede occurred at the Bandra Terminus railway station in Mumbai, India. The stampede injured nine people, with two reported to be in critical condition. Indigenous tribals have inhabited Mumbai (Bombay) since the Stone Age. The Kolis and Aagri (a Marathi-Konkani people) were the earliest known settlers of the islands.
