2024 Korean FA Cup
The 2024 Korea Cup, known as the 2024 Hana Bank Korea Cup () for sponsorship reasons, was the 29th edition of the Korea Cup. The winners could qualify for the 2025–26 AFC Champions League Elite (if they finish top four in the 2024 K League 1) or 2025–26 AFC Champions League Two (if they finish outside the top four in the 2024 K League 1). Pohang Steelers were the defending champions, having won their fifth cup title the previous year. They successfully defended their title by beating Ulsan HD 3–1 in the final for their sixth title. Pohang Steelers
The Pohang Steelers (Hangul: 포항 스틸러스) are a South Korean professional Association football, football club based in Pohang, North Gyeongsang Province that compete in the K League 1, the top flight of Football in South Korea, South Korean football. The Steelers were founded on 1 April 1973 as POSCO FC, named after the steel company POSCO, which still owns the club today. 2024–25 AFC Champions League Two
The 2024–25 AFC Champions League Two was the 21st edition of the Asia's second-tier club football tournament, organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and first since it was rebranded as the AFC Champions League Two. This was the first season using a revised format. It featured 32 teams in the group stage. The final was played on 18 May 2025 at the Bishan Stadium in Bishan, Singapore. The winners were given an indirect preliminary stage slot for the 2025–26 AFC Champions League Elite, if not already qualified through their domestic performance. Central Coast Mariners were the reigning champions, but they were unable to defend their title as they participated in the AFC Champions League Elite league stage instead. Gyeongnam FC
Gyeongnam FC () is a South Korean professional football club based in South Gyeongsang Province that competes in the K League 2, the second tier of South Korean football. Its home stadium is the Changwon Football Center, located in Changwon. Gyeongnam FC was founded in 2006 and joined the K League as its 14th club for the 2006 season. Gwangju FC () is a South Korean professional football club based in Gwangju that competes in the K League 1, the top tier of South Korean football. They joined the K League in the 2011 season. The club was founded in 2007 by a group of former Bucheon SK supporters after its move to Jeju in early 2006.
