The 2024 IIHF World Championship Division III will be an international ice hockey tournament run by the International Ice Hockey Federation. The Group A tournament will be held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan from 10 to 16 March 2024 and the Group B tournament in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina from 23 to 29 February 2024. 2023 IIHF World Championship Division III
The 2023 IIHF World Championship Division III were two international ice hockey tournaments run by the International Ice Hockey Federation. The Group A tournament was held in Cape Town, South Africa from 17 to 23 April and the Group B tournament in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina from 27 February to 5 March 2023. Chinese Taipei were promoted after winning Group A, with North Korea relegated after withdrawing before the tournament. Kyrgyzstan won the Group B tournament and got promoted, while Malaysia got relegated. The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF; french: Fédération internationale de hockey sur glace; german: Internationale Eishockey-Föderation) is a worldwide governing body for ice hockey. Bishkek
Bishkek ( ky, Бишкек), ), formerly Pishpek and Frunze, is the capital and largest city of Kyrgyzstan. Bishkek is also the administrative centre of the Chüy Region. The IIHF World Championship Division III are an annual sports event organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). It was the lowest level of the IIHF World Championships until the formation of Division IV for 2020.
