2024 FC Cincinnati Season
The 2024 FC Cincinnati season was the club's sixth season in MLS, and the ninth season overall for the team including their first three years in the lower-division USL. The club entered 2024 as the defending Supporters' Shield winners, the award given to the team that finishes with the most points in the regular season. FC Cincinnati home matches were played at TQL Stadium. 2024 was the third season with the club for general manager Chris Albright and head coach Pat Noonan. Football Club Cincinnati is an American professional soccer club based in Cincinnati. The club competes in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Eastern Conference. The team was first announced on August 12, 2015 as a United Soccer League (USL) franchise which played from 2016 to 2018. On May 29, 2018, the club's ownership was awarded an MLS franchise, and the team began MLS play on March 2, 2019. Alec Kann
Alec Kann (born August 8, 1990) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for Major League Soccer club FC Cincinnati. Career Youth and college Kann attended Lakeside High School (DeKalb County, Georgia), where he was a soccer starter for three years, including on the AAAA state title team (20–1–1 record) as a senior. Kann played four years of college soccer at Furman University between 2008 and 2011. During his college years Kann also played with Mississippi Brilla in the USL Premier Development League during their 2010 season. Nicholas Stuart Hagglund (born September 14, 1992) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for Major League Soccer club FC Cincinnati. Evan Louro (born January 19, 1996) is an American soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for FC Cincinnati in Major League Soccer. Career Youth Louro attended St. John Vianney High School (New Jersey), St. John Vianney High School in Holmdel Township, New Jersey, prior to his three-year career at the University of Michigan.
