The 2024 Colorado Senate elections took place on November 5, 2024, with the primary elections being held on June 25, 2024. Voters in 18 out of the 35 districts of the state Colorado Senate, Senate elected their representative for a four-year term. This election coincided with other Colorado elections of the same year and the biennial 2024 United States elections, United States elections. Background In the 2020 US Presidential Election, Joe Biden won 25 districts, while Donald Trump won 10. Robert S. Gardner (born ) is a former legislator in the U.S. state of Colorado. A United States Air Force veteran and attorney, Gardner was elected to the Colorado House of Representatives as a United States Republican Party, Republican in 2006. Rhonda Marshall Fields is a Democratic politician from Colorado. She represents District 28 in the Colorado Senate. During the 2020 reapportionment process, Buckner's residence moved from senate district 29 to senate district 28. Earlier, she represented District 29 from January 2017 to January 2023. Rachel Zenzinger
Rachel Zenzinger (born 1974) is an American politician from the state of Colorado. A Democrat, Zenzinger is the Jefferson County Commissioner for District 1. She has also represented the 19th district of the Colorado Senate beginning in 2017, she previously represented the same seat from her appointment in 2013 until 2015. Joann Ginal is an American politician who serves in the Colorado Senate from the Colorado's 14th Senate district, 14th district since 2019, as a member of the Democratic Party (United States), Democratic Party.
