2024 Cleveland Browns Season
The 2024 season was the Cleveland Browns' 72nd as a member of the National Football League (NFL), their 76th overall, and their fifth under the head coach/general manager tandem of Kevin Stefanski and Andrew Berry. The Browns failed to improve on their 11–6 record from the previous season and failed to win the AFC North title, finishing with a 3–14 record. This extended their division title drought to 32 seasons, having last won the then-AFC Central in 1989. The Browns failed to return to the playoffs after having qualified in 2023. Offseason Staff changes On January 17, the Browns fired offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Alex Van Pelt and running backs coach Stump Mitchell, and did not renew the contract of tight ends coach T. AFC North
The American Football Conference – Northern Division or AFC North is one of the four divisions of the American Football Conference (AFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The division was adopted after the restructuring of the 2002 NFL season, when the league realigned divisions after expanding to 32 teams. This is the only division in the NFL in which no member team has hosted a Super Bowl in their stadiums. Stump Mitchell
Lyvonia Albert "Stump" Mitchell (born March 15, 1959) is an American football coach and former player who is the running backs coach for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). He served as head football coach at Morgan State University from 1996 to 1998 and Southern University from 2010 to 2012, compiling an overall college football record of 14–42. Mitchell played collegiately at The Citadel and thereafter was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals. He was a running back and return specialist for the Cardinals from 1981 to 1989. Andy Dickerson
Andy Dickerson (born January 29, 1982) is an American football coach and former player who is the offensive line coach for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Tufts Jumbos and has previously had coaching stints with the Washington Redskins, New England Patriots, New York Jets, St. Louis / Los Angeles Rams, and Seattle Seahawks. Kenneth Simon Dorsey (born April 22, 1981) is an American football coach and former quarterback who is the offensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Miami, where he was a two-time Heisman Trophy finalist and national champion, and was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the seventh round of the 2003 NFL Draft, later playing for the Cleveland Browns and the CFL's Toronto Argonauts before retiring in 2010. Jacques E. Cesaire (born August 30, 1980) is a former American football defensive end and coach is the defensive line coach for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). He spent all nine years in the National Football League with the San Diego Chargers. Early years A native of Gardner and of Haitian descent, Cesaire started his high school football career in 1994 at nearby St. Bernard's High School in Fitchburg. Thomas Kevin Rees (born May 22, 1992) is an American football coach and former player, who is the current offensive coordinator of the Alabama Crimson Tide. He played college football at Notre Dame from 2010 to 2013. Early years Rees was born to Bill and Susan (née Cantwell) Rees in Los Angeles, California and grew up in Lake Bluff, Illinois.
