The 2024 CAF Confederation Cup final were the final matches of the 2023–24 CAF Confederation Cup, the 21st season of the CAF Confederation Cup and the 49th season overall of Africa's secondary football club (association football), club football competition organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The 2023–24 CAF Confederation Cup (officially the 2023–24 TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the 21st edition of Africa's secondary club football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), under the current CAF Confederation Cup title after the merger of CAF Cup and African Cup Winners' Cup. The winners automatically qualified for the 2024–25 CAF Confederation Cup, and also earn the right to play against the winners of the 2023-24 CAF Champions League in the 2024 CAF Super Cup. Sekhukhune I (Matsebe; circa 1814 – 13 August 1882) was the paramount King of the Marota, more commonly known as the Bapedi (Pedi people), from 21 September 1861 until his assassination on 13 August 1882 by his rival and half-brother, Mampuru II. The 2023–24 CAF Confederation Cup group stage began on 26 November 2023 and ended on 3 March 2024. A total of 16 teams competed in the group stage to decide the eight places in the knockout stage of the 2023–24 CAF Confederation Cup. Draw The draw for the group stage was held on 6 October 2023, 12:00 GMT (14:00 local time, UTC+2), in Johannesburg, South Africa. The 16 winners of the second round of qualifying rounds were drawn into four groups of four.
