2024 British Open
The 2024 British Open (officially the 2024 Unibet British Open) was a professional snooker tournament that took place from 23 to 29 September 2024 at the Cheltenham Racecourse, Centaur in Cheltenham, England. Qualifying (round1) took place from 31 July to 3 August 2024 at the Leicester Arena in Leicester. The fifth snooker world rankings, ranking tournament of the 2024–25 snooker season, 202425 season, it followed the 2024 English Open (snooker), 2024 English Open and preceded the 2024 Wuhan Open (snooker), 2024 Wuhan Open. It was organised by the World Snooker Tour and sponsored by online gambling platform Unibet. The winner received £100,000 from a total prize fund of £502,000 and the Clive Everton Trophy. 2024–25 Snooker Season
The 2024–25 snooker season was a professional snooker season featuring tournaments played between June 2024 and May 2025, including the professional World Snooker Tour, the second-tier Q Tour and featured events from World Women's Snooker and World Seniors Tour. The season featured 18 ranking tournaments, including a ranking tournament in Hong Kong for the first time after a 30-year hiatus and a ranking event staged in Saudi Arabia for the first time. 2024 Champion Of Champions
The 2024 Champion of Champions (officially the 2024 Grosvenor Casinos Champion of Champions) was a professional snooker tournament that took place between 11 and 17 November 2024 at the Toughsheet Community Stadium in Bolton, England. It was the 14th edition of the Champion of Champions since the tournament was first staged in 1978. It featured 16 participants, primarily winners of significant tournaments since the previous year's event. As an invitational tournament, it carried no world ranking points. Thor Chuan Leong (; born 24 March 1988), better known on the main tour as Rory Thor, is a Malaysian professional snooker player.
