2024 Bowling Green Falcons Baseball Team
The 2024 Bowling Green Falcons baseball team represented Bowling Green State University during the 2024 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Falcons, led by head coach Kyle Hallock in his fourth season, were members of the Mid-American Conference, and played their home games at Steller Field in Bowling Green, Ohio. On March 16, the Falcons set a program record with 33 runs batted in against Ball State in a 34–8 victory. The 34 runs scored were the most in a MAC game and second-most in program history. On March 23, the Falcons defeated Akron 11–6 to advance to 8–0 in MAC play, the best conference start in program history. The Falcons started MAC play 17–0 which was both a school and MAC record. They also started 10–0 at home which was also a program record. On May 12, Bowling Green defeated Eastern Michigan 8–6, which secured their first regular season championship since the 2009 season. Kyle Hallock
Kyle Hallock (born August 6, 1988) is an American baseball coach and former pitcher, who is the current head baseball coach of the Bowling Green Falcons. He played college baseball at Kent State for coach Scott Stricklin from 2008 to 2011 before playing professionally from 2011 to 2013. Playing career Hallock attended Perkins High School in Sandusky, Ohio, where we played baseball and basketball. He was recruited to play baseball at Kent State, where he would pitch on scholarship. Hallock was drafted in the 49th round of the 2010 Major League Baseball draft by the Philadelphia Phillies, but he declined signing and returned to Kent State. As a senior in 2011, Hallock pitched himself to the Mid-American Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Year Award. FedExPark is a baseball stadium in Memphis, Tennessee. It is the home field of the Memphis Tigers baseball team. The stadium holds 2,000 spectators and opened in 1972 as Nat Buring Stadium. The stadium was renovated and expanded in 2009, at a cost of $3 million; the Tigers played the 2009 season at USA Stadium in Millington. The stadium was reopened on February 19, 2010, as FedExPark. Oestrike Stadium
Oestrike Stadium is a stadium in Ypsilanti, Michigan at Eastern Michigan University. It is named after Ron Oestrike, a former baseball coach at EMU. It is primarily used for baseball, and serves as the Eastern Michigan University Eagles baseball team home field. Mastodon Field is a baseball venue in Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States. It is home to the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons baseball team of the NCAA Division I Horizon League. Bill Davis Stadium is a baseball venue located in Columbus, Ohio, United States. The stadium is home to the Ohio State Buckeyes baseball team of the Big Ten Conference and is named for William C. Frank Eck Stadium is a baseball stadium in Notre Dame, Indiana. It hosts the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish college baseball team. The stadium holds 2,500 people and was built in 1994.
