2023–24 Tulsa Golden Hurricane Men's Basketball Team
The 2023–24 Tulsa Golden Hurricane men's basketball team represented the University of Tulsa during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Golden Hurricane, led by second-year head coach Eric Konkol, played their home games at the Reynolds Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma as members of the American Athletic Conference (AAC). Previous season The Golden Hurricane finished the 2022–23 season 5–24, 1–17 in AAC play, to finish in last (11th) place. They were defeated by Wichita State in the first round of the AAC tournament. Eric Konkol
Eric Konkol (born November 24, 1976) is an American college basketball coach and former player. He is the current head coach of the Tulsa Golden Hurricane men's basketball program. Coaching career On May 18, 2015, Konkol was named by Louisiana Tech as the 18th head coach of the Bulldogs basketball team. He replaced former head coach Mike White who accepted the head coaching position at the University of Florida. Through seven seasons as head coach, Konkol had six seasons of more than 20 wins which is the most in Louisiana Tech men's basketball history. He was the fastest to 50 wins in school history and is currently 4th on the all-time wins list. On March 21, 2022, Konkol was hired as head coach at Tulsa. The UT Arlington Mavericks men's basketball team is an NCAA Division I college basketball team competing in the Western Athletic Conference. Home games are played at College Park Center, located on the University of Texas at Arlington's campus in Arlington. The team appeared in the 2008 NCAA tournament, losing against the #1 seed Memphis in the first round, although Memphis was later forced to vacate the win due to infractions committed by the program. Garden City Community College
Garden City Community College (Garden City CC or GCCC) is a public community college in Garden City, Kansas. It was established in 1919 to provide a means for post-secondary education for area residents. The school initially shared facilities in Sabine Hall and Calkins Hall in the 100 block of Buffalo Jones Avenue with Garden City High School and opened with a first class of less than three dozen students.
