The 2023–24 season was the 127th season in the history of Mansfield Town and their eleventh consecutive season in League Two. The club participated in League Two, the FA Cup, the EFL Cup, and the 2023–24 EFL Trophy. Mansfield Town F
Mansfield is a market town and the administrative centre of the Mansfield District in Nottinghamshire, England. It is the largest town in the wider Mansfield Urban Area and the second largest settlement in Nottinghamshire (following the city of Nottingham). Henry III granted Mansfield the Royal Charter of a market town in 1227. The town lies in the Maun Valley, north of Nottingham. The district had a population of 110,500 at the 2021 census. Mansfield is the one local authority in Nottinghamshire with a publicly elected mayor, the Mayor of Mansfield. Mansfield in ancient times became the pre-eminent in importance amongst the towns of Sherwood Forest. Scott Liam Flinders (born 12 June 1986) is an English professional footballer who is the goalkeeper coach for club Barnsley. Flinders has played for Barnsley, Crystal Palace, Gillingham, Brighton & Hove Albion, Yeovil Town, Blackpool, Falkirk, Hartlepool United, York City, Macclesfield Town and Cheltenham Town. Alfie Kilgour
Alfie George Alexander Kilgour (born 18 May 1998) is an English footballer who plays as a defender for club Mansfield Town. He will join Bristol Rovers on 1 July 2025. Career Bristol Rovers Kilgour began his career in the academy at Bristol Rovers aged eight, and first featured in the matchday squad for the first team while still an under-18, twice appearing as an unused substitute for EFL League Two games in the 2015–16 season. In February 2016, Kilgour was loaned to Mangotsfield United. After promotion that season, with first team opportunities hard to come by, he was loaned out again, this time to Cirencester Town in September 2016. Rhyl
Rhyl (; , ) is a seaside town and community in Denbighshire in Wales. The town lies on the coast of North Wales, at the mouth of the River Clwyd. To the west is Kinmel Bay and Towyn, to the east Prestatyn, and to the south-east Rhuddlan and St Asaph. At the 2011 Census, Rhyl had a population of 25,149, with Rhyl–Kinmel Bay having 31,229. Elliott Jack Hewitt (born 30 May 1994) is a Welsh professional footballer who plays for club Mansfield Town. He can play in a variety of different positions, including right-back, centre-back, winger or central midfield. He is known for his versatility and pace. He began his career at Macclesfield Town, where he graduated from the club's youth system. He joined Ipswich Town in 2012. Stephen Antony McLaughlin (born 14 June 1990) is an Irish footballer who plays for club Mansfield Town as a defender. Career Early years McLaughlin began his career at his local club St. Mary's, and played all his under-age football for the club. In 2006, he signed for Clonmany Shamrocks senior side of the Inishowen Football League, and was successful during his first spell in junior football.
