2023–24 FC Midtjylland Season
The 2023–24 season is FC Midtjylland's 25th season in existence, and its 23rd consecutive season in the Danish Superliga, the top tier of football in Denmark. As a result of the club's seventh-place finish and playoff win during the 2022–23 Danish Superliga, it qualified for the 2023–24 UEFA Europa Conference League and will also compete in the 2023-24 Danish Cup. FC Midtjylland
FC Midtjylland (, "Central Jutland") is a Danish professional football club based in Herning and Ikast in the western part of Jutland. The club is the result of a merger between Ikast FS and Herning Fremad. Midtjylland competes in the Danish Superliga, which they have won three times, most recently in 2020. Club history FC Midtjylland was founded by Johnny Rune, a carpenter and owner of a private business in the wood-supply industry, and Steen Hessel, an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer. The two men wanted to unite the football clubs Ikast FS (founded 1935) and Herning Fremad (founded 1918) – clubs that for decades had been strong rivals, but had never played any significant role in Danish football. Adam Gabriel
Adam Gabriel (born 28 March 2001) is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Danish Superliga club Midtjylland and the Czech Republic national team. Club career Gabriel began his career in the youth ranks at SK Zbraslav, before moving to Sparta Prague. On 10 August 2021, Gabriel made his debut for Sparta Prague, coming on as an 84th-minute substitute in the UEFA Champions League against Monaco. Bollklubben Häcken, more commonly known as BK Häcken or simply Häcken (), is a Swedish professional football club based in Gothenburg. It currently plays in Allsvenskan, the top tier of Swedish football. Formed on 2 August 1940, Häcken has played sixteen seasons in Allsvenskan, debuting in the league in 1983. Joel Andersson
Eric Joel Andersson (born 11 November 1996) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays for Danish Superliga club Midtjylland as a right-back. Club career A native of Gothenburg, Andersson started playing football with Västra Frölunda IF. At the age of 15, he also made some appearances for the first team, who at the time were competing in the fourth-tier Division 2. In 2013, Andersson moved to BK Häcken, another team in the Gothenburg area, but the first two years he spent in the youth academy. Lee Han-beom (; born 17 June 2002) is a South Korean professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Danish Superliga club Midtjylland. Club career FC Seoul Lee joined K League club FC Seoul in 2021, and made his professional debut on 21 April 2021.
