2023–24 Austrian Cup
The 2023–24 Austrian Cup was the 93rd edition of the national cup in Austrian Association football, football. The winners qualified for the 2024–25 UEFA Europa League#Play-off round, 2024–25 Europa League play-off round. SK Sturm Graz, Sturm Graz were the defending champions, having defeated SK Rapid Wien, Rapid Wien in the 2023 final. Match times up to 29 October 2023 and from 31 March 2024 are Central European Summer Time, CEST (UTC+02:00, UTC+2). Times on interim ("winter") days are Central European Time, CET (UTC+01:00, UTC+1). Sturm Graz retained the cup on 1 May 2024, defeating Rapid Wien 2–1 in the final (a repeat of the previous season's final). Since they qualified based on league position, the Europa League spot from the Cup was passed to the third-placed team of the 2023–24 Austrian Football Bundesliga. Wörthersee Stadion (), known as 28 Black Arena for sponsorship reasons, is a multi-purpose stadium located in Klagenfurt, Austria. It is the home ground of Austria Klagenfurt. The stadium is situated within the Sportpark Klagenfurt campus of several other sports venues. Its name refers to the nearby Wörthersee lake. Overview The first Wörtherseestadion was built in 1960 as the home ground of the old SK Austria Klagenfurt (the later defunct FC Kärnten), a track and field stadium with a capacity of 10,900. Neusiedl am See (; cs, Nezider; hr, Niuzalj; hu, Nezsider; sk, Nezider) is a town in Burgenland, Austria, and administrative center of the district of Neusiedl am See.
