2023 Spikers' Turf Invitational Conference
The 2023 Spikers' Turf Invitational Conference was the seventeenth conference and the end of the 2023 Spikers' Turf season, sixth season of the Spikers' Turf. The tournament began from October 20 to December 15, 2023, at the Paco Arena, Paco, Manila. This was the inaugural Invitational conference of the league, with a format similar to the Premier Volleyball League. This is the first conference where a foreign club, Maruichi Hyogo of Japan, participated in the league. The Sta. Elena Ball Hammers, Sta. Elena-NU Nationals beat the Cignal HD Spikers (men's team), Cignal HD Spikers in a thrilling 5-setter knockout match in the finals, the first of its kind in the history of the league. The visiting Maruichi Hyogo then bagged the bronze medal after defeating Letran Knights, Saints and Lattes-Letran in another five-set match. The Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) Generals and Lady Generals are the varsity teams of Emilio Aguinaldo College of Paco, Manila. George Pascua
George Pascua is a Filipino volleyball coach who is the head coach of the Adamson Soaring Falcons' men's volleyball team. He was the head coach of the PLDT High Speed Hitters during the 2022 season of the Premier Volleyball League. He was also a longtime coach of the Far Eastern University's women's volleyball team and a former player of the university's men's team. Career Playing career Prior to becoming a volleyball coach, Pascua was part of the Far Eastern University's (FEU) men's volleyball team playing alongside Ramil De Jesus. Adamson Soaring Falcons
The Adamson Soaring Falcons, Lady Falcons, Baby Falcons and Lady Baby Falcons are the collegiate men's and women's, and high school men's and women's, respectively, varsity teams of Adamson University that play in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines.
