2023 Silverstone Formula 2 Round
The 2023 Silverstone Formula 2 round was a motor racing event held between 7 and 9 July 2023 at the Silverstone Circuit. It was the eighth round of the 2023 Formula 2 Championship and was held in support of the 2023 British Grand Prix. Silverstone Circuit
Silverstone Circuit is a motor racing circuit in England, near the Northamptonshire villages of Towcester, Silverstone and Whittlebury. It is the home of the British Grand Prix, which it first hosted as the 1948 British Grand Prix. The 1950 British Grand Prix at Silverstone was the first race in the newly created World Championship of Drivers. The race rotated between Silverstone, Aintree and Brands Hatch from 1955 to 1986, but settled permanently at the Silverstone track in 1987. The circuit also hosts the British round of the MotoGP series. Campos Racing is a Spanish motor racing team, founded by former Formula One driver Adrián Campos. The team has been successful in Formula Three and the GP2 Series. History After retiring from racing, Campos formed his own team at the end of 1997, under the name Campos Motorsport. In 1998 the team began by competing in the new Open Fortuna by Nissan, with Marc Gené and Antonio García as drivers. Dennis Hauger (; born 17 March 2003) is a Norwegian racing driver set to compete in the 2023 FIA Formula 2 Championship with MP Motorsport. He is a member of the Red Bull Junior Team and the 2021 FIA Formula 3 champion. He also won the 2019 Italian F4 Championship with Van Amersfoort Racing.
