2023 Primera Federación Play-offs
The 2023 Primera Federación play-offs (''Playoffs de Ascenso'' or ''Promoción de Ascenso'') are the final play-offs for promotion from 2022–23 Primera Federación to the 2023–24 Segunda División. Format Teams ranked second through fifth in each of the two groups will qualify for the promotion play-off, which will determine the last two promotion spots. The eight qualified teams will be drawn into two fixed brackets, each of which will contain the second and fourth-place finishers from one group and the third and fifth-place finishers from the other. All ties will consist of a two-legged knockout series. In case of draws, an overtime period will be played; if the match is still tied following the overtime, the team which achieved a higher regular season finish will be proclaimed the winner. 2022–23 Primera Federación
The 2022–23 Primera Federación season is the second for the Primera Federación, the new third highest level in the Spanish football league system. Forty teams will participate, divided into two groups of twenty clubs each based on geographical proximity. In each group, the champions automatically promoted to Segunda División and the second to fifth placers will play promotion play-offs and the bottom five are relegated to the Segunda Federación. Overview before the season A total of 40 teams will join the league, including four relegated from the 2021–22 Segunda División, 26 retained from the 2021–22 Primera División RFEF, and 10 promoted from the 2021–22 Segunda División RFEF. Alberto "Berto" González García (born 2 April 1998), formerly known as Bertín, is a Spanish footballer who plays as a left winger for Cultural Leonesa. Club career Born in Avilés, Asturias, González finished his formation with Sporting de Gijón, after a short stint at Real Avilés. Christian Borrego Isabel (born 5 October 1996), commonly known as Chiki, is a Spanish footballer who plays for Racing de Ferrol. Mainly a forward, he can also play as a winger. Club career Chiki was born in Madrid, and represented CD Leganés as a youth.
