2023 PBA Governors' Cup Finals
The 2023 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Governors' Cup finals was the best-of-7 championship series for the 2023 PBA Governors' Cup. It marked the end of the conference's playoffs and 2022–23 PBA season. The TNT Tropang Giga and the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel competed for the 21st Governors' Cup championship and the 133rd overall championship contested by the league. This was the first time that TNT and Barangay Ginebra competed for the Governors' Cup championship. TNT Tropang Giga
The TNT Tropang 5G is a professional basketball team currently owned by Smart Communications, a subsidiary of the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT), playing in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) since 1990. The franchise began in 1990 when Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines, Inc. (PCPPI) acquired a PBA franchise. Under PCPPI, the franchise played under the names Pepsi and 7 Up. In 1996, the franchise came under the control of Pilipino Telephone Corporation (Piltel) and played under the name Mobiline. Rondae Jaquan Hollis-Jefferson (born January 3, 1995) is an American naturalized Jordanian professional basketball player for the TNT Tropang Giga of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The Philippine Institute of Sports Multi-Purpose Arena or PhilSports Arena is an indoor arena, indoor sporting arena located inside the PhilSports Complex in Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines. 2020 PBA Philippine Cup Finals
The 2020 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Philippine Cup finals was the best-of-7 championship series of the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup, the lone conference of the season. The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and the TNT Tropang Giga competed for the 42nd Philippine Cup championship and the 128th overall championship contested by the league. 2020 PBA Philippine Cup
The 2020 Philippine Cup, also known as the 2020 Honda PBA Philippine Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the only conference or tournament of the 2020 PBA season of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The 42nd PBA Philippine Cup started on March 8 and ended on December 9, 2020. The tournament does not allow teams to hire foreign players or imports. Three days later, the PBA board of governors decided to indefinitely postpone the tournament, together with the PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup, and the launching of the PBA 3x3 league, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the country and the enforcement of the various quarantine restrictions throughout the country. The 2022–23 PBA season or PBA season 47 was the 47th season of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). For the first time in two seasons, the league returned to its regular three-conference format, starting with the Philippine Cup. The Commissioner's and Governors' Cups were the second and third conferences in this season. After the PBA adjusted its calendar again, the association's 47th season started on June 5, 2022, and ended on April 21, 2023.
