2023 Italian Open – Men's Doubles
Hugo Nys and Jan Zieliński defeated Robin Haase and Botic van de Zandschulp in the final, 7–5, 6–1 to win the men's doubles tennis title at the 2023 Italian Open. Nikola Mektić and Mate Pavić were the two-time defending champions, but lost in the first round to Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos. Wesley Koolhof and Neal Skupski retained the ATP no. 1 doubles ranking. Rajeev Ram, Austin Krajicek, Marcelo Arévalo, and Jean-Julien Rojer were also in contention for the top ranking at the start of the tournament. Hugo Nys
Hugo Nys (; born 16 February 1991) is a French-born Monegasque tennis player who is a doubles specialist on the ATP Tour. On 29 July 2019, he reached his highest ATP singles ranking of No. 327 and he achieved his highest doubles ranking of No. 41 on 8 November 2021. Career 2021: French Open quarterfinal, Two doubles titles, top 50 Nys won his second doubles title at the Estoril Open, partnering Tim Pütz. Lloyd Glasspool (born 19 November 1993) is a British professional tennis player who specializes in doubles. He has a career-high doubles ranking of No. 12 (November 2022) and a career-high singles ranking of No. 282 (July 2016).
